well I guess bragworthy is blogworthy, and so, to wit, I announce that Meritage Press has accepted for publication a slightly mammoth poem by the humble person writing this. Days Poem the book is called. just shy of 800 manuscript pages. I am willing to say, advert, pronounce and brag that the words fairly prance upon or above the page (like that picture???), but at any rate, it is a work that I am happy to claim as mine. happy too to thank Eileen Tabios, the Merit in Meritage Press, for giving me this opportunity. there's a tricky emotion here, that I guess I will honour by not freezing into words quite yet. suffice to say, this book means a lot to me.
